A friend shared the website Swagbucks with me and peaked my interest when they told me they had generated more than $300 in additional income through the site.
To The Point - Is It Worth It? Yes it is! I cant believe how much money I have saved using Swagbucks, and how many money making deals I have participated in! I wish I had tried Swagbucks years go! Referral Code! If you need a referral, here is mine :D Referral Link * Every person that uses my referral link will receive a bonus $5 when signing up! How Do You Make Money With Swagbucks? There are a few ways to make money through this website: 1 - Trying out new products 2 - Playing games on your tablet/phone 3 - Doing surveys 4 - Using their referral link to buy on-line 1 - Trying out new products! When you go to Swagbucks "Discover" section, there are a ton of products and services that you can buy. Some are simply discounts, while others are money makers. The offers do change, when I first joined the Gillette offer was one of the better ones, however that has not been offered for a while now. A few offers they have had are:
Starting out I was skeptical of them, so I picked one item to test Swagbucks with. Gillette was offering $50 (5000SB) to buy any razor. The cheapest razor was $12 shipped so this was possibly a $38 money maker, and I would be buying something I need anyways, and would have bought eventually at Walmart. I also picked Gillette because its a known and trusted company and the Swagbucks link took me to the Gillette website, increasing my comfort level. The terms of the offer was to be a first time Gillette.com customer. I followed the Swagbucks Discovery link to the Gillette website - making sure that I did not have an ad-blocker enabled (that would have prevented Swagbucks from following the lead). On the website I found the cheapest option that would qualify and made my purchase using the Walmart BlueBird debit card. when using websites I am skeptical about, I generally use Paypal when available, or Walmart bluebird debit card if I have to. The bluebird card can not be overdrawn so there is no risk of an overdraft fee, and I only load enough money to make the intended purchase, so it cannot be used with out my permission. After the purchase, I went back to my Swagbucks account page and loaded my "activity" page. Sure enough, Gillette was listed as pending along with the 4000SB. Within 2 weeks I received the Gillette razors in the mail and the following day Swagbucks credited my account with 4000SB for the offer. So far so good! How To Cash Out I loaded the Swagbucks "Redeem SB" page and was offered many different gift cards. A few options were Walmart, Amazon and Visa. Swagbucks offers a 15% discount on the first Visa gift card you redeem each month, which stretches your Swagbucks credit even further! I requested a $40 visa virtual card, and a couple days later I received an email with a link to claim my visa card. I loaded the link, verified my account and printed my first Visa virtual card. I was given an option to receive a physical card but that cost an extra $3 and I wanted to get the most value out of my Swagbucks. At this point I realized I can probably use this $40 virtual visa card on future Swagbucks deals! That way the next group of deals wont actually cost me money, and I wont have to provide a debit card number to some random company. At this point I am feeling pretty good about Swagbucks! I searched the offers and made a note of a handful of offers I was interested in trying, all money makers. I proceeded to do the Dollar Shave Club 2000SB offer, Hulu 1500SB offer, VuseVapour 6000SB offer and the Gobble 5000SB offer. I did use up my visa credit pretty fast but I trusted Hulu and used my bluebird card for that. Some credited instantaneously like Hulu, and some I had to wait for the specified duration of the offer. It is not a bad idea to screenshot the offer details and the offer amount. I find if you send a ticket a week after you do the offer, they sometimes credit you right away instead of making you wait the month or two. And its good for your own records so you know when you did the offer, confirm how many points it was for, and make sure you followed all the requirements. After I completed those 4 offers I had made an additional $91 and received another razor, and 3 pretty good gobble meals. At this point, I know this site is legit and I have money in my pocket! 2 - Getting paid to try out tablet games There are a number of android and/or iOS games that offer you financial incentives to try their games out. They are hoping you will be addicted enough to keep playing, or to given in and buy an upgrade to finish the challenge faster. One game I played was Final Fantasy for the iPad. I had to upgrade my citadel to level 10, and I would receive 1000SB to do so, or $10. I did my research first and was informed that I can drastically increase my resources faster by attacking the monsters on the world map. These resources allowed me to build the various things in my city faster. The only annoying part was waiting for the upgrades to finish. A few of the monsters dropped boosts that reduced the waiting which was great. While this isn't a great money maker on its own, if you are inclined to play tablet games for fun anyways, this is not a bad way to do it. Especially if you install and play the 4 games like this at the same time. That way you can play the next game while you wait for the previous to finish upgrading. A few money maker games were: 1 - Final Fantasy 1000SB or $10 2 - World War Rising 1500SB or $15 3 - Solitaire Cube 1325SB or $13.25 4 - Vikings War of Clans - 1000SB 3 - Doing surveys Another way to make money on Swagbucks is to do surveys. I find this area to be a total waste of time. The pay per hour is in the dollars. Once in a while they will give you a good paying one but you wont qualify for most of those. I would stay away from this area of the site. 4 - Using their referral link to buy on-line This one was a nice surprise. I spend way to much on-line, particularly on Amazon. Swagbucks offers a % back from various on-line retailers. You do have to follow a link from their shop section, or you need to install their browser add on. The percent you get back varies store to store, and sometimes department by department. I purchased my kids a couple tablets for their home school and a month later I realized Swagbucks had sent me back $50. I'm not even sure why the percent was that high. This part of Swagbucks is worth using the service alone. Just buying what I would have bought anyways, getting a % back, on top of using my rewards credit card. The Annoying Bits Its not perfect, once in a while a purchase wont be found in your "Activity" tab, or your "Shop Activity", and you wont know until the processing time passes. Most offers are 32 days, some are 60 days and rarely are they 3 months or longer. The majority of my purchases were listed within 2 days. Once in a while an offer wont track and you will have to send Swagbucks proof that you did the offer, including screen shots of the order confirmation and sometimes a packaging slip. It is worth screen shotting the offer amount, offer details, and keeping all email's from the retailer the offer is from. keeping a spreadsheet of offers with purchase date, expected reward date and details is not a bad idea. Is it worth it? I believe Swagbucks is worth the free membership! They pay you to try new things out, to play games, and to shop where you already shop. Its an obvious choice to me! Referral Code! To The Point - Is It Worth It? Yes it is! I have increased my Disney library to well over 60 Blu-ray movies thanks to the club! Below, I will tell you why I think the Disney Movie Club is an incredible deal, and how to save $30 on your commitment with a referral code and how to receive 11 movies for $9.20 each! Use A Referral Code and Save $30.00! If you need a referral code, here is mine :D http://fbuy.me/mDVKp * Every person that uses my referral code will earn my three kids two free Disney Blu-ray movies! Over the years I have received many mailers from DMC offering me 4 movies for $1, with a 5 movie obligation (not so obvious detail) but I ignored those. Lately I have noticed some Facebook sponsored posts for this club and the comments got my attention. The deal seems to good to be true, but it is Disney, a house hold name and a trusted company. I grew up on Disney movies and I my kids love their movies, so I thought I would look into it further. I would love to have the entire Disney collection of classics for myself and my Kids! How Does It Work? I realized if I used a referral code I could get 5 movies for $1 instead of the 4 they were offering, and I would have one less obligation to purchase over the next 24 months. It was also pointed out that after you checkout with the 5 movies, the Disney movie club will also offer you 2 more Blu-ray movies, the first for $15 that will count as one of those 4 movie commitments, and the second for $10, that does not count towards your movie commitment. This brings me down to 3 more movies to buy in 24 months. The selections for the $15 and $10 are a bit limited, the good news is if you can not find 2 movies you care about, you can pick any 2 movies and then call the club up to ask for a different movie. I like to reserve the final 3 for new releases that I would have bought anyways. I would have been spending $25 + tax on new movies like Avengers End Game, Star Wars Episode IX and Captain Marvel. This makes the club deal even sweeter for me! How Much Does It Cost? The quick answer is you will get 11 movies for roughly $9.20 each with a referral, which includes 3 new releases.
When you average things out with the introductory offer and two subsequent discounts, 3 mandatory movies and bonus Disney Movie Rewards Blu-ray - you are paying roughly $101 for 11 Blu-ray movies which averages out to $9.20 each! Its even cheaper if you are happy with DVD's. Be sure to utilize those Disney Movie Reward points! Every Blu-ray comes with 150 Disney movie reward points. You can redeem the 1500 points for one of many free movies! Are there monthly Fee's? While there are no monthly fee's to be a member, they do have a monthly selection that you have to decline, or they will auto bill you and mail it to you. They give you 4 weeks to respond to the email or postcard, which is more than enough time to decline it. I prefer to decline by the website so I receive an email confirming it was declined. This way in 2 weeks when I have forgotten if I have done so or not, I can check my mail and confirm it was declined. If you do forget and they mail it to you, simply write "return to sender" on the package and they will refund you after they receive it and process it. Which does take about 4-6 weeks, not ideal. Do you get DVD's or Blu-rays? Will you get DVD's or Blu-rays? During the checkout process they ask you what you prefer. if you opt for Blu-ray they will send you that if there is a Blu-ray version of that movie in the club. Some of the older movies are only on DVD like Black Cauldron. However most movies do have a Blu-ray version or multiple Blu-ray versions. After you join you will receive an email confirmation of what you asked for, you can verify what you ordered there, and if there is a problem you have time to call the club up and make a substitution. It will look like the following: BDC-US-MOANA W/DVD+DIGITAL HD This was for Moana that came on Blu-ray and includes the DVD and a digital HD copy. Are There Digital Copies? Not all movies include a digital copy. Most of the newer ones do, and many of the classics like Lion King does. If that is important to you, you can check your email confirmation and if it does not include a digital copy, you can call the club up and ask if they have a version with digital they can substitute it for, or you can ask them for a different movie you want and confirm it has a digital copy. The Tangled Blu-ray does not have a digital copy, you need to purchase the 3D version of the Blu-ray to get the digital. Tinkerbell 1-3 do not have digital copies available, but the last 2 movies do have digital. Can You Cancel? You can cancel anytime after you meet your purchase commitment. Some folk cancel and then rejoin again to get the incredible introductory offer. Apparently Disney will even suggest this to you if you remain inactive long enough. They would rather have your introductory offer money than have you as a long term member. Is it worth it? In conclusion I love the fact I am receiving 11 brand new Disney movies for $9.20 each, which includes 3 brand new releases! After I do my commitment I cancel my membership and sign up again a month later. As you can tell by my Disney movie collection posted above, Ive been at this a while! Referral Code!
